dgm is conducting a survey of Australian companies on Affiliate Marketing, to establish a benchmark for the online marketing channel, and to ask about future intentions.
The dgm Affiliate Benchmark Survey, to be carried out in conjunction with edentify, will be conducted annually and is open to all companies whether they currently use Affiliate Marketing or not. Companies who participate in the survey will receive a copy of the report.
The survey is open for two weeks from today, finishing on June 27th.
John Matthews, dgm general manager said the Affiliate channel provides customers with some of the strongest ROI possible online.
“In Australia, the investment in Affiliate is smaller than other online marketing channels such as Search Engine Marketing and Display Advertising but over the last 12 months we have seen increased spends in verticals such as online retail and consumer electronics. The experience of other markets, such as the UK and US suggests Affiliate is still underutilised and has the potential for more significant growth in Australia in the next two years, especially as online retail grows its share of the consumer dollar.”
Similar surveys have been conducted in the UK, but this is the first time Affiliate Marketing has been studied in Australia.
